Alffind is a writer, storyteller, Poet and Motivational Speaker. He is a Liberian native, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and their two boys. He is also an uncle, cousin and brother to many. He attended Bishop Carroll High School (a Catholic brothers institution located in the city of Yekepa, Nimba County) until the start of the Liberian civil war. While attending Tepee High School (a refugee school system in the Republic of Guinea), he was awarded a scholarship to study at Morehouse College, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Alffind is very passionate about writing (storytelling) and various forms of art. Though he studied Marketing at Morehouse College, he has never forgotten his love and childhood passion for writing. The art of writing always seems to find its way in almost everything that he does. He started working on his first novel (a very inspiring autobiography) while attending college, and completed it in October of 2015. Alffind was officially bitten by the writing bug after that.

Immediately after completing his first novel, Alffind started working on his second book titled “Masquerade”. In 2016, He completed this family mystery-suspense filled novel that is expected to be a sequel. As he was writing the final chapter of “Masquerade”, he started working on two other novels, “My Journey Around The World” (A novel for children inspired by his own journey and love for reading and writing) and “Not A Minute Late” (another inspiring novel for anyone trying to find his/her purpose in life). These books are expected to be published in the coming years.

Alffind’s love for creative writing goes far beyond mystery, suspense, children and inspirational novels. He is currently working on other literary art projects, including stage plays for adults and children, poetry and much more. He is also an avid lover of nature and how it can be integrated in various forms of art and creativity. When he is not working on one of his literary projects, he enjoys cooking, playing tennis or golf, working out and taking trips with his family.

As someone who believes in giving back, Alffind hopes to use his experiences, knowledge, time and resources to help make life better for others, just as complete strangers did for him as a refugee student residing in the Republic of Guinea. One of his goals in life is to inspire others, especially underprivileged children, to take education very seriously and dream as far as their imaginations can take them. And if asked to give one advice to the young at heart, it will be ‘never give up on your dreams no matter your age or current situations”.
